Today programming is as important as mobile and computer. You must’ve wondered how?

The smartphone we use, will be useful if there isn’t any application in it. The mobile applications are programmed using the programming languages. Not only languages but also the animations when the smartphone starts and closes and much more things are being programmed using the programming languages. You must have used any website. Even now you are reading this article on a website. This website is also programmed using programming languages. There are many languages like HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, C+,C++ and so on. Apple is so much innovative that they also have their own programming language. This language we are talking about is based on the Javascript. Today we will be discussing about the Swift language.

Swift

Swift is a general purpose multi paradigm, compiled programme language , developed by apple Inc. and the open open source community. Swift programming language was firstly introduced in 2014, aimed to replace the apple’s earlier languages objective – C. Objective – C was an programming language largely unchanged since 1980 and also lacked modern features. This Swift language works with apples Cocoa and Cocoa touch frameworks. Key aspects of swift design was to interoperate with huge body of existing body of existing objective – C codee developed for Apple products. This was built with the open source LLVM compiler framework and has been included in Xcode since version 6 , released in 2014. Apple used the objective -C runtime library or its platforms, Swift programming language was designed by Chris Lattner, Doug Gregor, John Mc cell, Ted kremenek, Joe Groff and the apple Inc. itself.

Firstly this language was appeared on 2 June , 2014. But later it was released in September, 2019. Swift has some features of addressing some common programming errors like null pointer, deferencing and provide syntactic sugar to keep avoid the pyramid of doom.

The Swift programming language was introduced by apple Inc. in the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
