Thermal Insulation என்றால் என்ன? அது எங்கு பயன்படுகிறது? வெப்ப ஆற்றலை எப்படி சேமிப்பது?What is thermal insulation and where it is applied? How to save thermal energy

 



Thermal Insulation  என்பது உற்பத்தியாகும் ஆகும் வெப்பத்தை வெளியே கடத்தாமல் உள்ளேயே பாதுகாத்துவைப்பது.  அப்படி பாதுகாத்து வைப்பதினால் ஒன்று, எரிபொருள் சிக்கனம் ஆவது, இன்னொன்று உற்பத்தி ஆனா வெப்பத்தை அதிக நேரம் தக்கவைத்துக்கொள்ளலாம்.  பொதுவாக வெப்ப ஆற்றலை நாம் தொழிற்சாலைகளில் அதிக அளவில் பயன்படுத்துகிறோம்.  உதாரணத்திற்கு சாய ஆலைகளில் Dyeing Industries களில் துணிகளுக்கு சாயம் பூசிய பிறகு அந்த சாயம் அந்த துணியில் நிலைத்து நீண்ட காலம் வருவதற்கு, அந்த சாயம் பட்ட ஈரத்துணிகளை Steam அதாவது வெப்ப அலைகளில் காய வைப்பார்கள்.  இப்படி செய்தல் அந்த துணிகளில் சாயம் வெகு நாட்களுக்கு நிலைத்திருக்கும். அடுத்தது Tea Industries அதாவது தேயிலை தொழிற்சாலைகளில் தேயிலைகளை பிரித்த பிறகு அதை அரைப்பதற்கு முன்பு அதனை காய வைக்க வேண்டும். பொதுவாக தேயிலை என்பது குளிர் பிரதேசத்தில் தான் விளையும். குளிர் பிரதேசங்களில் வெப்பம் குறைவு என்பதால் அதனை இயற்கையாக காய வைக்க அதிக  காலம் தேவைப்படும். இதுவே செயற்கை முறையில் காயவைக்க Dryers பயன்படுகிறது.  இந்த Dryer கள் பொதுவாக மின்சாரத்தில் இயங்கக்கூடியது. இந்த Dryer களை Insulation செய்வதின் மூலம் இதன் வெப்ப ஆற்றல் பாதுகாக்கப்பட்டு குறைந்த ஆற்றலில் அதிக பயன் பெற முடியும். அடுத்த உதாரணம் Bakery களில் நாம் அன்றாடம் உண்ணும் பதார்த்தங்கள் பப்ஸ் பண் என பல்வேறு பதார்த்தங்கள் Oven இல் Bake செய்ய படுகிறது. இப்படி செய்வதால் அந்த பண்டங்கள் அதிக மிருதுவாகவும் அதிக மொறுமொறுப்புடனும் இருக்கிறது. இது போன்ற மொறுமொறுப்பை பெற மிதமான அனால் அதிக அடர்தியுடனான வெப்பத்தில் பதப்படுத்த வேண்டும். அப்படி செய்வதற்கு Oven கள் பயன்படுகிறது. இந்த Oven களில் வெப்பம் வெளியேறாமல் இருக்க Insulation செய்வதுண்டு அப்படி செய்வதனால் வெப்ப ஆற்றல் பாதுகாக்கப்படும் சரி அப்படி வெப்ப ஆற்றலை எதை கொண்டு பாதுகாப்பது. 

இதனை பாதுகாப்பதற்கு என்றே Thermal Insulation Materials இருக்கிறது. இதன் செயல் என்னவென்றால் வெப்பத்தை கடத்தாமல் தடுப்பது ஆகும். பொதுவாக இது போன்ற பொருட்கள் பூமியில் கிடைக்கும் Basalt Rock என்னும் பாறையை உருக்கி அதில் இருந்து நூலிழைகளை வார்த்து அதை கொண்டு கம்பளம் போன்ற Blankets கள் செய்யப்படும். இந்த Blankets களை Oven, Dryer மற்றும் மற்ற வெப்ப ஆற்றல் உற்பத்தி செய்யும் எந்திரங்களில் பயன்படுத்தி, வெப்ப ஆற்றலை சேமிப்பது உண்டு.  பொதுவாக 200 deg C இல் இருந்து 1200 deg C வரையில் கூட இது போன்ற Blankets பயன்படுத்தப்படும்.
